Vivolight Medical Hosts International Mayors’ Delegation During World Mayors Dialogue in Xi’an

Xi’an, China, Apr 29, 2026 — From April 27 to 29, the 2026 World Mayors Dialogue · Xi’an brought together mayors and distinguished guests from seven countries under the theme “Starting Point of the Silk Road, Harmony and Coexistence: Technology and Culture Empowering High-Quality Urban Development.”

As one of Xi’an’s representative companies in photonics and medical technology innovation, Vivolight Medical was honored to welcome the international delegation for an on-site visit. The visit connected the dialogue’s theme of technology-powered urban development with two hands-on product experiences: multimodal intravascular OCT for cardiovascular intervention and projection vein visualization for patient care.

During the visit, the delegation toured Vivolight Medical’s modern exhibition hall, where the company introduced its development journey, global footprint, and core achievements in translating photoelectric technologies into practical medical solutions.

Through detailed presentations and product demonstrations, the visiting mayors and guests gained a clearer understanding of how photonics-based innovation can support more precise diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.

Hands-On Experience with Advanced Medical Technologies

In the product experience area of the exhibition hall, several of Vivolight Medical’s flagship solutions attracted strong attention, including the P80 Multimodal OCT Imaging System and the V900P Projection Vein Finder, which have been adopted across international markets. Guests listened closely to technical introductions and took part in hands-on demonstrations, experiencing how Vivolight’s technologies can be applied in clinical and intelligent sensing scenarios.

The P80 Multimodal OCT demonstrated how high-resolution intravascular OCT can provide detailed visualization of vascular structures for PCI guidance. Built as a multimodal OCT platform, P80 integrates high-resolution imaging, automatic lumen measurement, and advanced assessment tools such as Index of Plaque Attenuation (IPA), OCT-derived FFR, and Intelligent Calcium Assessment (ICA), helping physicians move from image acquisition to more comprehensive procedural decision-making.

The delegation also experienced the V900P Projection Vein Finder. Using near-infrared technology combined with intelligent depth detection, V900P projects real-time vein maps directly onto the patient’s skin. During the demonstration, guests observed how depth indication, needle-entry guidance, adjustable display modes, and brightness settings can help clinicians locate veins more intuitively in settings such as wards, infusion rooms, emergency care, and pediatric care.

By turning complex optical principles into accessible, clinically meaningful medical devices, Vivolight Medical demonstrated how advanced technology can be translated into solutions that serve real healthcare needs.

International Recognition and Shared Vision

After the tour and demonstrations, several visiting representatives expressed appreciation for Vivolight Medical’s innovation capabilities and product development. Jamal Abu Obeid, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Ramtha, Jordan, remarked that he was deeply impressed by the level of technological development he saw in China, noting that advanced innovation and manufacturing can support progress in areas such as transportation and medicine.
